Agilent Technologies: Haloacetic Acids Analysis by IC-TQ
Haloacetic acids (HAAs) are disinfection byproducts caused by the reaction of chlorine and naturally occurring dissolved organic matter present in drinking water. Five commonly found HAAs are regulated by the EPA with a Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 60 ug/L.

Emily Parry received her PhD degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of California, Davis. She joined Agilent after completing her postdoctoral work at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Her specialty is method development and measurement of emerging contaminants.
